Bike riding or fishing or hiking or anything else where your phone falling out of your pocket would be a bad thing! really well made with a belt loop and a carabiner hook, wear it any way you want. I actually like to wear it sideways on my suspender belt! The notebooks are certainly a nice addition but the pen needs an upgrade. Never could get it to write but I had a refill replacement so no big deal. All in all a handy little doo-dad.
